If you need anything that I've already said I can help with then let me know, but as its looking like I'm selling up and won't be going to JAE pick up will have to be arranged through some of the local members. But I am still willing to assist as said I would.

Oh dear Malcolm! :( Why?

Hope to see you there in any case, with or without an MR2, we need someone to make tea! :D

Tom it has finally happened.

I need more power.

I want more power but its going to take me six months to get any decent money together to replace the engine. I'm not sure I can wait that long so looking at getting rid of the MK1 trading in my current bike and getting a ZX6. Fast and fun. Will also save me one lot of insurance, tax and running costs.

May be up to JAE anyway but if so then will be in the eurobox.

(Though one sunny day with roof off and I may change my mind. Heart and head battling it out big time at the moment)

Sell the NA, buy a SC instead :) Sorted. Then with the money you save from not having to buy all-in-one leathers, come on a trackday with it.

Scott, don't worry about turning up and not knowing anyone.
I went to my first JAE after owning the car for five months and knew no-body.
Have some good friends fromt he club now and everyone is friendly, besides once the beer starts flowing EVERYONE is your friend!

No probs Chris. I live in Peterborough so I might even be able to run you down there if you park up at mine. I think my bird wants to come along but I could drop you off then go back for her later. Might be tricky so I'll have to suss it out nearer the time. But we can meet up one way or another ;)

1. Last year's IMOC stand was basically one large MR2 carpark. Perhaps if we grouped the cars according to colour (or whatever) it would make the stand look more interesting.

2. Perhaps some sort of MR2 parts jumble sale thing? We've all got bits of kit kicking around in garages/lofts/under the stairs, so JAE would be a good opportunity to get rid of stuff there and then for cash. Perhaps if this was run centrally (i.e. in one place by volunteers) a certain cut from the money taken could be given to the club?

That'll do for now. :D

Sounds like a great laugh, camping, drinking, frolicking 'n all....
