Just booked for Friday night in the cottage. Ben or someone is going to pick me up from the hollyhead boat and drop me back to it late friday night.

So you all will have to be extra friendly to me as I know no one!!!

WTFDTM?

On a serious note though, if you needed or wanted an EGM, wouldn’t this be a golden opportunity? I mean you would need to persuade Dale, Patrick, Chris Ammon, and M_Lud :? to come. And there’s a ready made facility, the cottage. All us unimportant people could all just bu88er off to the pub. Just an idea....

We will no doubt discuss some stuff as we always do when Ben, Toni and i ever meet up.

Chris is standing down as is M_Lud so yes it would be only Dale and Patrick needed, which would mean all available floor space.

Tbh with four of the admins at angersea we'll discuss a lot of things then report back to the others when we get back don't think it needs an EGM though tbh.

Ok, just trying to be helpful. I am really surprised you don't need an EGM though, there's an awful lot of stuff going on. And how often do you see Esmond? :?

Thats okay Tom, i'm sure loads will get discussed.

Ok new cottaging details as we lost out on the other one:

http://www.menaiholidays.co.uk/cgi-bin/ ... =PG1&cod=5

This one sleeps eight and is either side of a semi IYSWIM and has an adjoining door that can be open to make it one big house. am guessing Mark and i will be on sofa duty especially on Friday night. someone else may have to opt for the sofa bed in the other house but anyways think it will work out okay.

Okay we need to sort out food and stuff when we get nearer the time, there is a big tesco at holyhead way which will do everything we need. Reckon we could go pick up food after picking Esmond up.

Mark and I do a mean spag bowl, so maybe we'll knock up one of those.

are there any mean cooks going? ;)

Jonny has had an absolute mare trying to book this up for us.

Lauren,

Just wondered if you would do me a favour since you are seeing J5 tomorrow. I don't think either day will be full, mind you there's a fair time to go and you will know better.

Jo's coming and it will be her first trackday. So she will want to go in the beginners group. I would prefer to go in the intermediates.

I would like to do the first session so that I can show Jo the track, the braking and turn in points etc

So ideally I would like to go in the 1020 - 1040 am intermediates session. Then Jo could drive in the 1100 - 1120 am beginners session. That gives the car 20 minutes to cool down and will be fine. And then we would like to continue the day like that. Do you think J5 will be ok with that?

Contradicting myself I think I will book the Saturday to drive. If it's wet and Sunday isn't fully booked I will ask J5 if I can swap. I hope he would be ok with this, could you ask him for me if you remember?

PS Surely someone who is driving alone will offer Esmond a drive won't they?

NOTE: There are now 18 cars confirmed for Saturday (maximum 39 allowed) There are 32 including the provisionally booked.

There are now 8 cars confirmed for Sunday (maximum 39 allowed) There are 22 including the provisionally booked.

WE NEED TO WATCH THIS 'COS SOME OF US AIN'T PAID AND CONFIRMED

Tom it may be okay to do that if its not too busy. Tbh though the sensible way to do it is run Jo in the intermediates as it won't be hardly any different than the novices.

I always view intermediates as beginners with egos.. ;)

Seriously she will be fine. Both of you in intermediates or beginners would be best option. Tbh intermediates is always the busiest session for some reason, beginners may be a better bet. Driving standards are about the same amount of variance IME.
