I'm so old (More than anyone has admitted so far) I can't bring myself to put it down in black and white, but I really enjoy my Two in a solitary kind of way ! All you youngsters wouldn't want me around at meets I guess.

The upside?

Fully comp insurance is £154 a year ! \:D/

That's alright, it's kinda pink and black once it's on the page ;)

I think it's great that people still own MR2's and such in middle age. I'd like to think that I'll still own nice fast cars as I get older, although I know it becomes more difficult with family commitments etc.

I reckon about 80-90% of men aged above 40 would secretly love to own a nice sportscar if it was possible.

thats really funny mate i had a kawasaki zxr 750 h1 that i restored and my 2 replaced that due to same situation with the wife and mother come to think of it, sadly my 2 doesnt scare me as much as my zxr 750 did but is much much safer and keeps the family happy :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Currently 30, 31 in May

I have a habit of buying cars for my birthday.

For my 25th I bought my 1st MR2, a Mica Blue Mk1 T-Bar
For my 26th I bought my 2nd MR2, a Mica Blue Mk1 SC T-Bar
For my 27th I bought my 3rd MR2, a Cosmos Blue Rev5
For my 28th I bought a MY00 Subaru Impreza Turbo
For my 29th I bought my 4th MR2, White Mk1 T-Bar Trackcar.
For my 30th I bought my 5th MR2, a Green Rev3 T-Bar Trackcar.

There's a fair bit of overlap with each of those. I kept the SC for 2.5 years, I still have the Impreza and the Green Rev3.

Been thinking that for my 31st, its time to swap the Impreza for a Black Rev5 T-Bar and get a V6 swap.
