*Yawn* Morning all.

Right then, part two of the fun and frolics.

The photos aren't the best and there's not too many, as we really just wanted to focus on getting it finished.

Day 2 kicked off with running the hoses to the pre rad

Th current state at the bum end of the car

Bumper bar back on, after a bit of a tidy up

Half the bolts broke when removing the bumper, so they had to be dealt with

Bumper back on

The chargecooler core could now be mounted.

Much easier than fitting an IC, but still a fighter

The swirl pot was being mounted in the boot, so holes for the hoses had to be cut and grommets fitted

Standard ECU, with a couple of HKS bolt-ons

(SLD and FCD)

Starting to plumb in the CC core

The bracket we fabbed for mounting the swirl pot

Front end fully assembled

Under trays back on.

Not a job I'd rush to do again

Front end back on the ground

Hole and grommet on the other side

Swirl pot mounted.

Needs a polish again

All CC plumbing completed, time to bleed the system

Bleeding was going fairly well, until Peter spotted the car had had an accident at the front end

Both joints were leaking.

My fault for not checking them properly

The left side was an easy fix, as it was accessible from the front

The right was was more tricky, however luckily I managed to access the clamp front the top of the frunk

(over the rad) and rotate the clamp before adjusting it

*Cut to some time later*

CC was bled, everything installed, wired in etc etc, time for the first fire up

It lives!

The idle was high, due to the existing map from Rob's car

All done.

Well, for now.

.

Went out for a test drive and it ran like a champ.

Felt quicker than the old set-up straight off and only going as far as 5-6 PSI

The noise is fantastic, with the sound of the turbo spooling away all the time.

I managed to blow off a vac hose on the way home, however a quick clamp later and it's all good, ready for a trip to see Ryan on Monday for mapping.

All in all it was an epic 3 days.

A huge amount of work was done, but that first drive made it all worthwhile.

My thanks to Peter for his efforts and putting up with my somewhat relentless pace

(until my brain crashed about 6pm each day

)
