As my Mk2 is stuck down south waiting for some rolling road time, I'll be in my new Mk1, which I bought yesterday :)

Got some new front discs and F&R pads to fit, new fluid and probably some brake calipers to free up, so should be entertaining. All depends on the weather :D

The stand looked very good.
I was there in a car of different persuasion today, the rain was bounding down so only had a quick look see, did see Pam from MR2 only.

If you are organinsing for the August (?) show at Tatton and you want a MR2 Racing Mk1 let me know.

Cheers Fazza et al. top weekend. Yep a bit of a damp squib today, but friday night through to Sunday morning was :+:

Drunk far too much (well more than Mark anyway), talked utter crap for far too long, met a few new people and caught up with the regular crowd.

It really was an entertaining night last night with some muscle mary in a ferrari who couldn't hold his drink wanting to start fights with everyone. Campfire chat was the highlight as always. :+:

Firstly, thanks to Alan for helping us out with stand space. I did thank him before leaving on Sunday but it is worth saying again.

Thanks also to the Drivers Club for allowing a Mk1 Club member to take their MK1 Best In Show Prize away from them... Yay...

Saturday was steamingly hot and I have the sunburn to prove it however Sunday, despite the never ending rain, was still very busy.

For the picture junkies here is a select few to slake your need:

...for some reason my camera badly messed up the focus of the TRD2000 that was on the stand. Very very nice car.

The Drivers Club members were a hospitable bunch as ever and I think I will camp over for the August show. Greetings to all I met.

Thanks (Jon) for the pics of Saturday to highlight just how miserable the weather was on Sunday (the day I was there!).

Fingers crossed for 2 days of glorious sunshine in August!!! :thumleft:

Was a great weekend as always, despite the soggyness of Sunday. Social side was great including James putting "mary" on his ar$e!

Needless to say saturday was a bit "delicate" for me so gutted we didnt have the weather on sunday. So unfortunately didnt manage many pictures.

Heres one of the TRD though with Karen's roadster

Cheers and see everyone again in August

Ps...
