Most power and torque on stock internals?

Part no. for the block changed in 96 ! So anything in between 93 and 96 !!

Be nice if we had access to the original engine department / data details ... obviously the engine numbers are incrimented to builds, so the change will have been along the line as a revision.

The thing is, mate, from what I understand, it was a bit of a manufacturing defect (cast on the p!ss). The block defo changed for 1998, but as for before that, I've seen some early-ish Rev3s be OK, and some later ones having problems. Almost suggesting a mixed batch!

I forgot to add that my new (1998) block came without an engine no on it, so I'm guessing that the number is added after the build. So, could this mean that the bad blocks could be mixed in and wouldn't be easy to identify?
