Maybe not but he has a point , whats wrong with english nationality workers ? :silent:. If the people working on my car can't speak a word of english and i wanted to talk to them personally because of the work they did i think i'd be a little miffed. [Edited by Mod]

I have nothing against foreign workers themselves i just have a dislike for foreign workers who live in this country and dont speak a word of english. I think there should be a global law even for us if we live somewhere foreign we must learn the language!

As already said Shamec speaks english fine, i wouldnt employ someone who cannot communicate, sadly when people get on their high horse they talk rubbish. Shamec knows more about sw20's than anyone that has commented on this thread and can hold a conversation to disscuss anything he finds,he is a stand-up decent guy and very freindly and has a 3 year qualification that would shame 90 percent of uk mechanics, he is offened by what has been said here, and his experience in the motor trade is worth more to me and the community than these dissgusting comments that have no founding whatsoever.

Im more dissapointed in what i read every second, firstly your making comments of second hand nonsense info, and clearly are superior to any other human on the planet, what you dont want to here is the uk born workforce are lazy know it alls, self indulgent, rob you blind, selfish and very rarely enjoy or good at their job.

It must be very nice it to on the be so special.

Now just because you read something here doesnt make it right and doesnt give you the right to continue making slanderous, rude, offensive remarks.

Suddenly, i'm p'ed off. What the hell has somebodys nationality got to do with it ? this thread started off with somebodys real concern about the service they received, now it's descending into grumbling about "foreigners" ... pathetic. What could have ended up as a constructive thread is now just another pile of cr@p.

If the people working on my car can't speak a word of english and i wanted to talk to them personally because of the work they did i think i'd be a little miffed. Its annoying enough going to a doctor patel who can hardly speak english very well and your pretty damn poorly.

Well imo most english people are lazy and try and do the minimum, I work with polish folk everyday and let me tell you, they put SOOO much more effort in than equivalent english workers, not only that they are freindly, helpful and actually want to learn/succeed and do the job PROPERLY instead of a half baked effort and toss it off

cheers.......

 Sorry, but I have to agree with James here, There's nothing wrong with Shamec's english! If the guy can answer all multitudes of questions I'm firing at him, and have a general chit chat with me and others hanging about, and crack jokes whilst fixing my car I'd say he was doing just fine in both English and Customer Relations  !

Ok this is going way off topic, I don't think much more is going to be added to it.

Locked.

On a personal note I've chatted to Shamec on one occasion when I took my Mk1 to 3S for a bit of diagnosis and he was spot on with both his English and his diagnosis.
