so what you saying youve got to have a 3.6ltr straight 6 engine, 24v, twin garrett t25 turbos and 6 gears to do 175mph because if thats the case then weve got no hope in the mr2 its only a 2ltr with 1 turbo

The key element here is that you had 233bhp, the Lotus Carlton has about 380!

No the key element is you could gear any car to do 200mph if you had enough power to pull it and enough room ( I.E a fookin long straight road !)

Look you 100 million % won't reach similar top end speeds to a Lotus Carlton in a 233bhp Fiesta.

Like someone has suggested, speedo may say that, but you wouldn't be going that fast. 150 sounds about right.

 =; [-( Theoretically he probably could IF it was geared correctly,
But like I said earlyer, what your speedo says and what your doing is a different matter. the only way to tell how fast he was going is to find out what the final drive ratio of the gearbox was and times it by how many rpm,s he was doing........ :-#

Whos really bothered anyway is was only a f**kin fiesta ......!

 CHILL out

It was a red..... very tasty.... very very light..... Ferrari F40! This car just pips the McLaren F1 for me in my all time fave super cars, but then that's probably cos I've actually been in one!
