Normal video file (viewable with Winmedia player) ~6mb
Compressed to save space, hence image quality is lacking a bit.
CJB and myself had 1 final race after everyone left, was very close, we both made a few mistakes - would've been neck and neck to the line had we not touched bumpers whilst on a long sweeping corner (causing his car to get very unsteady)
Good turn out too, ran from around 8pm to half midnight :)

Nice work, I was wondering if there was a way to do a video!
Have you got one of single 'in-car' footage with a good battle to show a 'race on' situation from a drivers perspective :)

I've also got the replay from that one - what you don't see in that video is that Brian (in a tubby) drops it on the exit from the chicane (about 10 seconds later), scattering the following cars.. :)

Hi,
Is it possible to edit the title of this post to include 'wednesdays at 8:30'
I think its only Goto10 that can do this.
Cheers,
Chris.

I still can't master the RWD cars with mouse control but I'm gradually improving in the FF machine, still no match for most and still not in the 1:30's but with a combination of upgraded stiles and decreased graphics settings I've made it more or less playable.

If we could have a race with the FFs at some point that would be nice, at least until I buy a wheel :)

Anyone else want a race in the Chavmobiles?
Could be arranged, I know AlexF prefers the GTi (he has a wheel but thinks the GT / turbo are too hard)
Let me know!

Is it possible to set up a race where the FFs and the FRs can enter so everyone is happy?

The mouse is a nightmare thanks to the "on/off" brake and accelerator control, with the RWD stuff you seem to spin on every corner, even with furious button clicking to try and modulate it a little :)

Setting up a multi-type car race is easy, we could make it 'open' between GTi and GT (not turbo), doesn't bother me if we have a mixed field. in terms of laptimes the GT and GTi are much of a muchness anyway.

We cater for all skill levels ;)
Even if you've only played for 5 mins with the keyboard, still come along - there's usually 1 or 2 people at the same skill level so always someone to race.

Just a quick visit for me as well, had a visitor earlier on so couldn't make it for 8.30 and then had to disappear....

Nice to see you there Damen, I'm a mouse user too (megaboost) - the FF hatchback is definately a lot easier to drive with the "on / off" acceleration the mouse gives, the RWD cars just spin out all the time.

Hope we can have a few more people there next week, it got lonely :)

A wheel is definitely the way to go - force feedback!
I was also not quite with it last night after spending 6 hours in my van driving to Leicester and back :(
5 laps with Speedy breathing down your neck are not that relaxing! ;)
Definitely another fun night but I was completely drained by about 9:30

I'll spend all day next Wednesday having a massage / sipping coctails by the pool etc - then I'll be ready at 8:30 :)

What wheel are you going for?

I'll be there next Wed, only managed a couple of races at the start of the evening as I went to the cinema.
