I could just hear me trying to explain that one to the insurance company!

   close shave then?!
we had to be soo careful in the rain - was surprised at how much water could be put down in so little time.

Shame the rain cut short the day. Also this prevented us using the club pitch set aside for us, as the ruts in the grass were too scary to drive on. I guess we would have to be towed off.

The MK1 club mead a bit of a club stand in the main pits area, but none of the IMOC mk2's joined us :(

Its was cool to see Stuarts MK1.5 making fast times down the strip (13.7? can't remember....) but bl**dy fast - should give the tubbies a run for their money.

The tango didn't run as an exhaust bolt had fallen off  , but maybe next time...

Not too close. Stopped about 2.5 feet from the Enzo's bumper.
But I wanted more room for error, if I got it wrong then my insurance premium next year would be about the same cost as the Enzo!

   Many screams from the pasenger?

Jo, Stu's best I think was a 13.5. That was the one where he was just pipped by the RX7.

Was an OK Weekend - nothing near as good as I anticipated.

Big thanks to the huge group from the West Mids (Stu & Family???). You guys made us feel extremely welcome =D> No mention of High-vis and aeroplanes :-$

Tiamat, glad you got back OK and glad you didn't get closer to the Ferrari.

Unfortunately it couldn't be said for all who went to Rotorstock
Picked this up off another forum:

I'm just glad to finally see what one of the conversion cars can do.

I'm just a bit gutted i could'nt take either of my cars down the strip for various niggles

the 3s-gte engine is superb as long as the engine you get is a good one,but our car is superb to drive with loads of low down torque.i say go for it!!it would finish off your car very well 8)

as fo rotorstock i was a little gutted about a few things, lack of timing boards, late start on monday, slippy track on sunday, lack of first aid (i.e. eye wash)bad road surface around track ,run off and pit area.

but we all had a great weekend and we will be back to try and break the 12's

i see you improved on your best time.think you had run a 13.7 when i spoke to you on sunday. i was the gut with black rev 3 on the startline waiting for the track to be cleared after that supra.did you lower your tyre pressures to get a better time?
