So far another PB

12.55 @ 113mph !!!

Can't get the launches right. That's still with a 60ft over the 1.9s.

Not looking like its ment to be, knocked a tiny bit off.

12.53@114mph

Can't get anything in the 1.8s for 60ft.
Annoying!

Only a couple more runs left

Wasn't to be. Couldn't get close again aside from a couple of 12.60

Had a rough time on the launches. defo need some sidewall.

Still. 12.53 for a stock 20b ain't bad with a half assed launch! 114mph too is really getting up there.
Wonder if I can claim a uk 20b record, as opposed to a ct series one for now, ha!
Till next time!

Car and I need a rest! Long ass day!

Drag strip is the ultimate dyno.

114mph is comfortably over 300 whp.

Not bad from a throw away ct20b 8)

Wheel horse power.

Definitely think this has cracked the 300whp Jim. Chuck it on a dyno.

Big congrats. Once that launch is sussed you will have low 12s. As you say, just need more sidewall.

Not sure I'm close to that.
I did dyno 260ish whp few months ago. Heatsoaked engine which was unfortunate. But 114mph terminals don't lie (granted most were 112/113mph).

Since that dyno I upped my fuel pressure 8psi and fitted a safc2 to add fuel (mid range) and remove a tad (upper rpm) as dyno showed I was running bit too lean. Those tweaks seems to have given me more consistent afrs.
Maybe I've gained 10-15hp, but can't imagine I'm anywhere close to a true 300whp.

Pleased to have gained some mph though and getting similar times to my previous mid sized hybrid turbo with worse 60fts.

Dyno readings arnt a biggy for me anyways after it cracked the 300flywheel barrier.
But to compare. My old 340whp car was trapping 115-117mph. Did a 12.88 in that at 116mph with a 2.2ish 60ft.

I'm just glad to have shown up a few cars on the day, many were shiny bmws (was a BMW show the next day), many im sure didn't believe me when I said I was only running 310ish (flywheel) hp as many asked!

12s are not as easy as it sounds. Be good to see more up there, I was only mr2 there on the day (thanks to Steve aka Odin not showing up. Lol!! ;-) ).

Mighty impressed Jim, goes to confirm the suspicions i've had about hybrid turbos. That they are not a worthwhile "upgrade" unless if you maybe have a ct26
