Dunno why Jon has become so secretive about his build...he has pm'd me the problem that he thinks he found, but I don't get why the secrecy...
if you don't wanna talk about things, then why have a thread on here in the first place?

My thoughts exactly, In all fairness though I have to assume he has hit his budget for the car, had ubber bad luck, kept going with the project and ended up throwing stupid amounts of money against a weekend hobby, I may well be off the mark here but usually have a good eye for things like this

Ash - the last 2.5 years of ownership has been totally unbelievable after using a MR2 specialist, up North. I should have gone to Paul Woods. I sent you a Pm - as I don't want to get into a internet debate, still don't.

Martin - your right on the button.. .. The stories from the last 2.5 years are laughable.. Looking back.

Oh, I made a custom rocker cover to deal with the water issue, then mover the engine fuses and and electrics into the boot.. I'll send you a picture.

The car IS alive and running.

However, the Beast - is being re-named, to start afresh..
