Well little update, I got the spare wheel powdercoated to match the braces and few other bits.

Just had thd tyre put back on and went to drop it in..... and it doesn't fit ](*,)

The toms braces don't allow it to go in, so if I want to carry it I need to remove the brace, put the wheel in and then put the brace back on.... a bit faffy as means I can't get to the battery easily. But this is really only needed for the trickle charger.

I was going to carry tyre weld anyway as didn't plan on using the spacesaver if I picked up a flat.

Oh well.... one to think about... but for now it is up against the garage wall

Will be going to Rising Sun and of course JAE. I go on local jap club stand as have done for a few years. JAE is a must though!!. :thumleft:

When I bought the car years ago it didn't come with the original wheels so am still looking. Would be nice to try them and make it a little bit more stock. Plus I think I prefer the handling on 15" wheels...or at least want to try :-)
