Well little update, I got the spare wheel powdercoated to match the braces and few other bits.

Just had thd tyre put back on and went to drop it in..... and it doesn't fit

The toms braces don't allow it to go in, so if I want to carry it I need to remove the brace, put the wheel in and then put the brace back on.... a bit faffy as means I can't get to the battery easily. But this is really only needed for the trickle charger.

I was going to carry tyre weld anyway as didn't plan on using the spacesaver if I picked up a flat.

Oh well.... one to think about... but for now it is up against the garage wall

Will be going to Rising Sun and of course JAE. I go on local jap club stand as have done for a few years. JAE is a must though!!.

When I bought the car years ago it didn't come with the original wheels so am still looking. Would be nice to try them and make it a little bit more stock. Plus I think I prefer the handling on 15" wheels...or at least want to try
