Not sure about remaining numbers, but got this info from somewhere/someone about Mica Orange Originals sold in UK.

Total of 95 N/A. I (53 Coupes + 42 T/Bars)
Total of 26 TURBOS (22 Coupes + 4 T/Bars )

Thought may be of interest.

Best of Luck in your search

How that can be correct ? turbo's were never sold in the UK

Good Point - never thought of that, as my attention was on N/A's

Does anyone know where you can get CORRECT info on number of Mica Orange MR2's, originally sold in UK, and also left on the road? Ta

I doubt such info is or has ever been available. You could try contacting Toyota UK but going by what I know of previous MR2 related enquiries with them. I think it's unlikely they will know/have records of such details :(

The number of turbos built in this colour and N/A is correct, but they weren't sold in the UK. This is the rarest colour for a factory turbo.

For context I built a scraper to iterate through all VINs (Well, late rev 4 through to the last rev 5) and collated results into a spreadsheet for analysis.

Interesting, where did you find the database of VIN's to scrape ?

Using the toyodiy vin stats. Give me a few days, I'm making it available via a website.

Definitely interested, Toyodiy basically uses the Toyota EPC, which I have a copy of. I know the EPC must contain a database of VIN's/Frame Numbers, I just don't know how to access it other than entering an individual VIN.
Do you still have access to the Toyodiy diagrams ? I know many can't see them.

The best way to get these are to use the ones on nengun.com. Go to https://www.nengun.com/oem?srsltid=AfmB ... d_r0BItnqQ

Yes I know of that one, there was also one at www.japan-parts.eu but it seems to be down at the moment :( I don't need them as I can still see all the parts diagrams on ToyoDIY and I have a copy of the EPC on my PC
