Of course I'm going wide body lol- well when I get enough time/cash to start it lol

Do you mean the size of the gt86 or the styling? I don't mind the gt86 when it has a decent stance. But I'm looking forward to the supra resurrection

Sweet, I've been toying with the idea of going a kit and wide body but I really like the sleeper look :-k

The the styling of it, think it is a bit too bland, a friend of a friend has one which is stunning.. He's spent a fair bit of money on the styling though!
Supra will be something else

Funnily enough I just got 2x free part worn 265/30/19 tyres
Just need 235/30/19 and I can really test them.
They will genuinely only be for show but I'm now thinking if they don't work with 10mm spacers I'll be moving them on as i have plenty of time to find show wheels and would rather spend more money on power upgrades, already started looking at turbochargers :-#

I always intended on more power than I have even before I purchased the car.
I could easily have had more at the mapping session if we used race fuel, more boost and adjusted the cams but I wanted to make sure the engine gets a good few miles on it safetly first and make sure it holds up well to the sort of power it is just now as it had been sitting a few years.

Rob - yes the manifold is a t4 twin scroll, the turbo afaik is a t4 single scroll so I'll go twin scroll and something a bit more efficient lower end even if it is only 200rpm but with more top end capability (700hp+)

A few other bits and pieces will need upgraded to match ie inlet manifold, throttle body, injectors, charge cooler, and ecu at the very least.
Will see what the bank man says after new year 8-[

there's plenty of T4 twin scroll BorgWarner's and Holset's that'll do that for very sensible money without needing to spend £1500 something else

like that for example..

Got some new Greddy warning/memory gauges to replace the normal Greddy gauges, also the boost gauge goes upto 2bar unlike the old one which is only 1.5bar:

Unfortunately I still need to figure out the best way to wire it up as it is slightly different from the stock gauges.
Also missing one of the plugs which is annoying so need to figure out where to get one from

I have these exact gauges. (I got an oil pressure).

Did they come with the sensors?
Quite rare these days you find them with the sensors and/or the wiring.

They look great Jim :thumleft:

I'm on the lookout for oil pressure aswell to complete my set, then sell the other gauges.
The temp gauges didn't come with sensors but I can use the existing oil temp sensor and I've got a water temp sensor I previously used on a defi gauge I'm guessing I can splice into to use with the Greddy water temp gauge.
So if all that is ok I'll just need the sensor harness plug to connect to the link unit which could prove difficult (wasn't told it was missing)

Did you use the yellow wire from the link unit?

Was a while ago but going by that image id say no to hooking up the yellow.
Be glad you gauges are not 'maxed' out.
I see a lot of folk selling the gauges where the needle is wrapped right around, sold as working but are infact broken. (Cheeky!)

Wasn't aware you could just splice in other sensors,
Good if you can.

How do you mean wrapped around?
I need to get them set up asap to make sure they are definitely working as I am paranoid

I'm not so sure if you can or can't splice but I'll have to give it a go unless anyone knows that it 100% won't work :-k

I mean like this. 'Maxed out'
Yours look good though.
Usually can find the wiring on the Japanese auction sites. I got my boost gauge from there. Rinkya I think it was

Makes sense, I've had ive had a look on some jap sites and can't find any unfortunately and can't find any in uk either

Might end up having to buy a full gauge set up just for a plug ](*,)

Car was supposed to be coming off the road this week for winter but it's obviously came a few days earlier so will fix this after new year once I know what the plans are with the set up 8-[
