Yeah, but what advans are they? Certainly not the same ones dalemeister posted, as those ones would rock.

Well, yes they are a particularly hideous set of Advans, but what Dale suggested is not the look I'm after.

Or the old max power fave, Antera 109!

Although they did actually have a cool feature of no visible tyre valve (which I'm amazed more people haven't done!!)

I'm no SLJ, Craig, will leave that to you. ;)

Is looking like I'll be ordering a set of front pads from Toyota as these seem to be the only pads that actually fit according to some. FFS basically. :-:

I think you may be able to send the standard ones to Carbotech and he will make you up a set.

Yes, I've spoken to Carbotech, they can do me a set no problem. Would just need to send off some backing plates of which the only suitable ones are on the car. Plus they are around £180 a set.

Okay we have sorted it. Decided to use the good old fashioned method of a piece of coarse sandpaper on the patio. We took off 1mm off the inner pads.

That did the trick and now it is locating properly. Have just been to bed them in and warm those brakes up. Initial impressions are pretty good.

For reference they are Hawk Racing Pads. I had the same pads on my DC2 and they were very good. Will feedback how I get on with them.
