One run I had the camera facing backwards - though in true 'sods law' mode no cars were behind me except for Ben's Mk1 and Goldy ( I think ) passing me on my cooling down lap

Nice Footage Martin!

Wey hey! Sherwood Toning Mk1 doing a fly by there along the pit striaght :D

And a couple where I was following Ben/Sarah in the Mk1

I think that's Sarah driving, just judging by the different lines we preferred through School.

Looks like you've got some of blokey or Alex/Anna driving a Blue SC too.

I will be editing up my footage tomorrow night. Been busy tinkering with the IMOC server the last couple of evenings ...

Just like to add to the thanks to Anna for arranging the tip-top accomodation and Lauren for another super track-day weekend. Was good of you to keep the snow away on sunday so we could have some more tyre-munching fun.

I just love it when the Evos and subarus have to get out of the way, thats when it's cool that it's a D-reg on the back :D

Thanks to all the people who braved a few passenger laps with me over the weekend, especially blokey & ben who had a few 'committed' laps sat next to me. Big, big thanks to Pitcher (James) who actually let me drive his tubby (madman) - yes, it will go through School at 70, no probs (even slightly damp on the apex around the bump), really is quite some car.. very tempting all that torque, but not quite enough to tear me away from the SC :)

Now i've just got a big long list of things to do to fix the car/make it better, and we'll be ready for the next one!

OOh, ooh.....

Nope, it isn't us. Isn't blokey either. Its another Si who also now has a SC. Lauren drove it and complained of snap oversteer, and said something was really wrong with it. One of the wheels fell off on the sunday after the wheel bearing totally failed

Wheels fell off ?! I've had a hub get worn away inside a wheel bearing on my old mk2 - that sounds nasty though!

Heh, I did the same in the NA on Sunday. Had Steve as a passenger, and he got the "I'll do one cool down lap .." followed shortly by " ... I just need to catch that Scooby first ... "

A 15 minute session turned into the best part of half an hour with me doing that all the time. Gotta love it when a tired looking C plate Mk1 overtakes a 51 plate scoob :D

I enjoyed those, they were some very nicely put together laps. Reminded me of a few things I should be thinking about when I'm driving - blending cornering/braking together

Nice to see James enjoying my old Mk2 to the full =D> .

I should also say thanks to James for letting me take it for a drive again - brought back many memories :) Unfortunatly I spun it at Abotts when he let me take it for a drive - I took it a bit easier after that

I wouldn't say it was 'snap' oversteer, but something was way out on the geo or something because literally as soon as you turned in it went sideways very quickly... made the car very, very slow.. Will have to see what happens when Si gets a 4wheel alignment done. I have no doubt that car would kill him in the wet!
