Got bloody vouchers for WHSmith and it doesn't have it on their website as having GH3 and the guitar. Jus the game, no controller. Is this right?

It's for a PS2.

I really wanna have a go but am not paying £25 for GH3 and £45 for the guitar.

It should be £45 for both, at least it is every where else.

Played this for the very first time at my mates party last night on the Wii, I had my doubts but how wrong was I. It was brilliant.

Play have the PS3 version with the wireless guitar in the current sale, £55 delivered :)

Does anyone on here know if the PS3 controller would work with older PS2 stand alone versions???

Activision should automatically send out medals to anyone who complete's any tune on Expert for them to wear in public to show off, Having watched some of the youtube links and experienced the game myself i can't see how anyone could finish that single handedly on expert.

There's a video on Youtube of some one playing through the fire and flames on expert like that.

I noticed there's 15 gamer points up for grabs if you can play that on expert and activate the star mode 3 times.

I turned it on expert and got boo'd off after all of 10 seconds.

It's wierd, I can get about 95-97% on easy but it's too mad on medium +

Got a few 5 stars on medium now....Slipknots song, Paint it Black and Even Flow...but the Slayer song and The Devil Went Down to Georgia are too crazy! Tried Through the Fire and Flames a few times and can only get about 80% of the notes....

Still, I'm getting better....

Yep. There'll all be there in easy though mate so dont worry.

You start from the begining again. Any songs thats you've downloaded or bought from the shop will still be there though.

Do you mean on quickplay?

IE on career I'll need to open them up but can play what I like on quick play?

I've played a fair few on medium and thats tricky enough.

If your playing it on hard/expert you must have some guitar experience surely?

Most definitely not I can assure you!

I've been playin the guitar for over 10 years now and this game frustrates me so much! am fine on medium until I hit Knights of Cydonia. Feck me it goes mental towards the solo.

Can play a guitar, even play the song in question but a guitar sim f**kin computer game beats me...and every time I refuse to let it beat me it turns round and laughs at me! ](*,)

So you think the game is harder than the real thing?

I na word... no.

Reckon if I had 10 years practice at the game I'd do that wi my eyes shut too!

Thing is as a guitarist you try to play the song properly... can't help it, is just instict like. So you end up playing notes that don't need to be played in the game and get bood off for that!

at this moment in time though yes... it is definitely harder than the real thing

Kind of yeah, tapping is hammer on's and pull off's together using both hands. Sounds wicked when you get it right. 8) :thumleft:
