I've a rev2 and used a ST205 sock. Just had to lengthen the holes towards the centre and use tapered cap-head screws.

what size hose did you lot use for the coolant?

19mm (3/4") for my installs.. Halfords do it by the metre or screwfix by the reel (cheapest)...

I also used 22mm copper elbows to complete the route from engine to front, had to warm the pipe to stretch it on though..
