I would have had it mate, as ive always loved the way the mica blue's come up polishedbut im getting my arches done soon, so will be keeping mine for a while.
A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, I have not seen this car in the flesh but IMO you will get
£600 maximum with rusty arches. It also has a blue interior which puts a lot of people off, it has now been for sale for 8 months so it is obvious the price is too high 
I have 2 MK1s both of which I paid
£500 for, I have spent loads repairing my first one but it is not worth what I have put into it. The second one I got for £500 2 months ago with Konis, a mongoose and loads of other nice parts.If you want to sell it then lower the price, but you would be better off repairing the arches and keeping it
