Which one is it?

I said the day is Open Pit lane. It is.

It says Open Pit Lane in the confirmed bookings. It says i'm in advanced. This is because originally the date was a sessioned onem, so my booking (the 1st) was done before he changed it. I asked Jonny to change it and it looks like he's only done half a job. I might get JEF on the job seeing as J5 is busy.

yorks about a million miles away, arn't there any other old air fields in the midlands?

I see someone going from southampton mind  going to be a big fuel bill in a turbol, 1 tank there, 1 on track, one on way home. £100 petrol easy.

Well it should be MR2s only, but we allow invited guests. Its fine for your friend to come, as long as i know about it, no problem, thanx for asking.

Not many, well thats not true, but there are very few still in use for trackdays, due to the noise complaints etc.

From oxford its not that far at all. Say 3 hours or so. There's bound to be a convoy, will work it out nearer the time.

Notice there are only four MR2 confirmed bookings and 12 provisional MR2 bookings. Where is everyone?

Anyone can book so its not exclusive to MR2's.

Notice there are already a few interlopers including a Black Ford Transit with a Cosworth engine putting out 371 bhp! Jesus!

It would be a real shame if people missed out.

Yep that transit guy got in there from pretty much the start (i have met him before and seen his van out on track). the other 'interlopers' are friends, mostly those that used to own MR2s so its not really as bad as it looks.

It is really exclusive to IMOC. The problem is if IMOC members don't pay up and get booked then we have no choice but to open it up to regular punters. 50% deposit is enough to secure your place so why not pay £50 now and the other £49 a bit nearer to the time.

I wasn't anticipating it to fill right up, so I've added myself in the Honda - If all the places are taken I don't mind dropping out to allow an 'MR2' to join in! - After all it is an MR2 event! :)

If it doesn't fill right up it'll be open to anyone.

Keep your place its fine as you are a known IMOC member.

DoM,

Please don't misunderstand me. I wasn't complaining about interlopers, I was just trying to drub up some more members to go to the trackday!

I know the trackday won't be full of MR2's but it would be nice to see a few more.

Hopefully see you there.

Best regards, Tom

I'm going to put myself down for this event.

I should be there in the mk1.5... to see what that much power in a mk1 can actually do! If something goes drastically wrong, or it doesn't get finished by then (highly unlikely!), then I'll bring the mk1 Escort and just have a laugh sliding that around... if thats ok Lauren?

Me too - I have always wondered how quick these 3sgte powered MkI's *really* are on track - all things being equal you should leave everyone for dead :)

Yep thats fine John.

Lets hope you do get the MK1.5 finished in time as i'd like to see if they are any good on track. You do know that this will be the first time a MK1.5 has every been on track.
