Well apparently the user interface isnt that great, so it will probably take a bit of getting used to. I've bought an ISO adapter so connecting it up shouldnt be too difficult :)

If I get stuck ill just ask my old man. (I can blame him if he breaks it  )

Before I fitted my ipod interface for a kenwood, I was a bit wary via the general feedback given for such a device - yet pleasantly surprised in practice. Its very difficult for any device to replicate all that the jog control does on the ipod, yet if you organise your files well it works great!

Iso-wise it really is plug&play, and if the cars harness has been cut-off, just buy the plug and a decent length of wire from anyone breaking a mk1b and splice in. HTH

I've ordered some infinity speakers and an ipod adapter to go with it and will be installing it on the weekend.
Does anyone know if the Infinity speakers are likely to come with enough wire and connectors?

I've got the CD571x headunit to go in, seen here:

Along with the CDC401 In-dash changer, seen here:

Not very retro but makes the best use of the space available in my eyes.

Ok can I have some more help please :D

My speakers arrived today and in the box for the 3.5" infinity referance there are two big capacitors in a bag :?

I'm really not sure what to do with these. Do I need them?

Does anyone know how to connect them?

Thanks

I have the infinity kappa series 4" in the front 3.5" in the rear, these came with seperate crossovers that split the feed to the mid and tweeter.

Rears are abit tricky to fit, mine arnt even bolted in but sit perfectly and dont move around or vibrate. There a great speaker but lack any bass, what you doing for bass?

ps. i run them of my alpine mosfet 4x60w headunit.

Not sure if I have enought money left for a sub :D I'm going to try them for a bit and maybe add a sub at a later date. I have the kappas withe he crossovers for the fronts, but couldnt find anywhere that did the 3.5" kappas for a reasonable price.

Do other speakers come with capacitors? Really confused as to where they go!
