ok well I guess see how it goes over the next couple of days.

If the Guildford meet as such gets the chop lets assume still though for those that want to, to meet at The Spectrum leisure centre from 11.30, to leave at 12 noon sharp so we get to Pease Pottage before 13.00.

Hiope that sounds ok?

Well I am still up for the Guildford meet as its close to me and after I had my card cloned and lost all my money me thinks Brighton is a bit far for me at the moment in time.

Bowling sounds like a plan.....as this meet was meant to be more of a social one.

Righto- I have a problem - I am not going to have a computer for the next three days so will be unable to chase this up. Could either Ian / Leeroy take over monitoring of it and let me know via my mobile? Will PM whoever helpfully volunteers with my mobile number - even if you just tell me you are going to Brighton.

I don't mind 'taking over' or at least keeping you updated.

Is there a minimum number you are looing for to make the Guildford meet worthwhile?

I'm probably going to go to G'ford to Brighton route myself, haven't been to a meet for a wee while and fancy a drive...

I can arrange the two seperately, keep the guildford only meet going depending on numbers, and set up a new thread maybe for guildford to brighton, meeting all the others at Peas Pottage...

PM me your mobile if you want.

I can of course do this with Ians help, no problem.

I have already spoken to Ian on MSN but your help is still required and appreciated mate :thumleft: - basically I will go with what people want. i am not sure about the Brighton meet as I may be in a Hi-Lux not an MR2 but will be in the area for the Guidlford meet, its a case of majority rule.

PM sent Leeroy.

so is it worth doing a poll then if its majority based? Only at the moment there is nothing for people to sign up to for the Guildford to Brighton run...?

Or do you want me to take over now so to speak?

*edited times, please note...*

Ok so looks like I'm helping to organise things for Sunday then.

So there are potentially 2 meets/events happening here: Guildford only meet, and Guildford to Brighton run. The Guildford only meet will now have a different meeting time from originally planned to coincide with the Guildford to Brighton run. Both are now as follows - meet at the Spectrum Leisure Centre for 11.00am. The Guildford to Brighton run will leave sharp at 12.00 and head over to Pease Pottage in time for 13.00. The Guildford only meet can do what they like :D Thanks Ian for the suggestion, glad someone's thinking!

Please can you all add/move your names to the meet/event you want to join and I'll keep Tiamat in the know and he will decide probably on Friday or Saturday whether to cancel the Guildford only meet or not. The earlier you get your names down the better for all, thanks.

So please add yourselves:

Guildford meet only:

1. Tiamat
2. Injury_ian
3. The_Last_DJ
4. PeteC
5.

Guildford to Brighton run:

1. Leeroy
2. 2Crooky
3.

Ian and anyone else, please feel free to contribute, I wanted to get things started as time is ticking for Sunday... 8)

Just in case you missed the edit above, here are the changes to the meeting times...

The Guildford only meet can do what they like :D

This means people can also make a last minute decision about which meet to join.

Weather's looking pretty iffy for tomorrow so make sure you take a bit of care on the roads! It won't be icy according to the BBC, but there will be some spells of rain about...

If the road is wet then I think head down to Pease pottage on the main roads, not much point doing the twisties and no point risking it, I hope you all agree. We can of course decide in the morning anyway.
