Calm it down lads...

Of course nobody has a problem with you asking questions, but should you get a procession of MR2s, post up pictures asking questions but add 'oh its for sale btw' then you may annoy some people.

of course not, anybody is welcome to join imoc whatever car you drive but as you are obviously a trader you should pay your fees and become an affiliate of the site instead of pretending to be a genuine mr2 enthusiast that has no intention of the keeping the car

As toni says, calm down. The rule is that if you're making money through trading & advertising on the site, then we would ask that you contribute a small amount to help the site keep running. None of the administration or moderation team get any financial reward, it's just to keep the site running.

Post away and ask questions by all means.

Jurgen bought this car and intended on keeping it. Hence he was asking questions on things about it.
But I twisted his arm to sell it to me.

Thought so!!

Wasn't supposed implicate you for spamming and cause all this trouble for you though. I didn't even mention that you were a trader/importer.

Only was supposed to say, "hey, I recognise your username" and that's it!!

Sorry buddy..

Anyway, Welcome to IMOC.. 8)

I kinda know what you mean but I'm in that boat myself since April having been an OWNER for 4 years. Now I don't consider myself any sort of expert but I did do (and have done for me) a lot of work/mods on the car while I had it and I still feel that I can offer some useful advice to others here & there.

Not to mention I still have a lot of affection for the model.

Plus, there's quite a few of us who've 'returned to the fold' after selling up...maybe this site and the fact that most aren't bothered if you're an OWNER or not has been a factor in getting another '2.

Not having a pop but I really don't see a problem. I was on the MR2DC before I bought my turbo, then on the old mailing list and now on the forum for the past couple of years. I'd say I've paid my dues as have several others I can think of. :?

I think I read an artical about this very car in J-Tuner recently. It has to be said that some pretty tall claims were printed regarding it's abilities! :?

No offense intended chaps just an observation ;)

I remember the mag stating that the car has 600bhp and can cover the 1/4 in low 10's. Has this happened or did the mag get carried away? ;)
