LoL! Cheers for the ideas. I've got 2/3rds of the video I took imported, just editing it up and mixing it up with footage people have taken here.

Sean, the last few may have been uploading to the server - try them again, they should be OK now.

LoL! You weren't slow in the SC, I could probably be a little more committed into some of the corners - the thought of binning £16k of Roadster does cross your mind occaisionally, especially when you're considering what entry speed you can get away with into School ;)

Funny that, cos we've now been to Anglesey 3 times, and the times which i've felt most like going off have been when i've go into a corner partially committed - especially school. When the car is loaded up through the corner, it seems to stick a bit better, or move in a way which I can control.

That is a good point - I find I'm faster when I'm relaxed and not 'trying' as well.

I found I could pitch it into School and get a little four wheel drift going all the way to the braking point for Abbots - at which point you know some opposite lock goodness is coming your way :)

I did find that there were a couple of bumps 1/3 and 2/3rd the way through School - I had to let the Mk1 settle after the second bump before braking for Abbotts, otherwise I locked up my OSF wheel.

I took a couple of trips up the escape road there trying different lines through School to see if I could avoid the bumps and get the braking in sooner, but didn't find something that really absolutely worked.

Lauren's line in the uber-barge was interesting - get it in really quick, provoke a slide to rub off speed and then take the last apex - a kinda V I suppose making the main straight longer, and braking point later?

I always take in more speed than the car has grip for... its not really a V its more a case of getting the car into a slight drift which i balance on the throttle. Though i was gooning a bit ;) remember the quickest way is just beyond the limit of adhesion.

I think its one of those things that is a trait from driving MR2s that always understeer on turn-in, so i go in way too fast and lift just at the point where it turn-in which obviously induces lift-off oversteer, as soon as the car oversteers to teh point where i'm aiming at the apex i floor it (its normally actually just slightly before because the car has to settle).

Doing it this way means i carry more speed for longer and hence makes me quicker. I would say i turn slightly later but not to the point where it becomes a 'V' IYSWIM.

It'd just be a picture of a windscreen if you did that though.
