HhhhhMmmm! Which exhaust to buy?

Re: HhhhhMmmm! Which exhaust to buy?
Hi folks,

I'm fairly new to this friendly exchange of genius knowledge, of which I'm afraid to say mine is limited

John Rees and Steve b have already shown me how we should slate one another
- nice one lads

So, anyway, back to the exhausts
- I too prefer 2 pipes, just my opinion but I think it suits the car better.
But I do not want a mild steel exhaust as I just want to be able to polish 2 lovely stainless steel ones

From what I read, this rules out NUR Spec and Departure?

Sorry to be so picky but does anyone know the best stainless steel 2 pipe exhaust?

Cheers

nope sorry bud, the greddy and hks ones arent available for the na.
only single exit types.

i dont think any of the top jap makes make twin exit exhausts for the na.
.
.
.
well none that are good or recommended anyway

hurstie: the nur spec is not available for the na.
you can get single exit hks ones.

my knowledge on na's is pretty limited

I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the Hayward and Scott custom systems

The standard one fitted to the car sounds like this:

The Heyward and Scott system:

I can't find a better pic at the moment, but here's what it looked like as it was fitted to my

The Mongoose is cheaper, but there used to be fitment issues with it

For the price of the Hayward
& Scott it doesn't exactly look like much does it, sound amazing though

Cheers for the tip-off Ben

Sounds pretty phat

I'm actually not miles away with my NA K&N filter
- it reall is the b0ll0cks
- just imagine how good it would sound with both

Do you know what I would expect to pay these days for the Heyward and Scott system?

Cheers,
L

Hey Luize.
.

Is that yours? If so, a good way of showing the rear end off
+ the dep2 is to bend that bit of black grill out the way, up, behind the rear bumper.
Take a look at the piccy of my car on the 2nd page of this thread.
Makes it look like a new bumper.
