There's a set of the original wind deflectors on Yahoo Auctions at the moment if anyone is looking for some.

Ok guys looks like we have a fair few of you interested so I'll get some in and work out the best way to do this. Looking at the initial photos it seems the carbon ones are intended to be permanently installed by 3m tape or bonding, would this be ok with everyone?

With regards to the t-tops, yes we can do these the only problem is the locking mechanism. I am happy to supply you with a piece of carbon but you'll need to bond the locking mechanisms yourself which isnt an easy job. I can also look to supply thin carbon overlays to bond to both sides of the glass for those wanting the carbon look over weight saving.

Let me know what you think :)

I'd be happy using 3m tape for the wind deflectors :thumleft:

As stated before 3m tape would be the best as this is what I used on my s14a.

How much are we talking?

Hi guys,

I have been looking at ways to make these, with them being very thin I cant manufacture them from fibreglass or a carbon fibreglass mix. They will need to be made from 100% carbon fibre im worried they will crack or snap under pressure when installed. All carbon costs alot more than what we normally work with, for a pair we'd looking at £250 Tin Top and £200 T-Top.

Could you all let me know your thoughts please :)

Thanks
Ben
