'Course you can have a ride... and anyone else for that matter - just loiter in the paddock with a helmet and i'm sure you'll get lots of 'lifts' round the circuit ;)

As for the keys - no i think i'll hold on to them thanks!

...go on - you know you want to.

Even if it's only for a social thing - looks like a good bunch are going so it'll be a giggle - I'd imagine there'll be passenger laps going. ....actually, now I come to think of it - don't BaT allow free second drivers? You may be able to bag a second driver place.

Hi all, been on my hols and just seen this.

Am tempted myself (with hubby) to make a weekend of it - bring the drift b1tch as am dying to try it out on track. Any room at the inn?

Yeah, I thought I couldn't make it, I still can't make it but I'm thinking 'sod it' at the moment and come along anyway :) It might be just be the Saturday, but I'm tempted to do Satudarday and Sunday and take MOnday AM off. I'd need to buy some more tyres though for the mk1 too, so I'm thinking close on £500 for the weekend all in (250 tracktime, 160 tyres, £50 petrol each way, plus petrol on track and maybe BB. £500 is now looking a bit low!)

If the Cottage is full, I know a nice B&B on the Northern half of the island that is about 20-25 minutes drive from the circuit ... they do some very nice rooms for £40ish a night.

Floor space would be fine for me though if there's room at the Cottage - it would mean £40 more beer/ take away money an evening ;)

Errrm, just to add another spanner in the works someone else may be coming as well with his NOS powered Mk1. Think we need to hire a hotel, not a cottage!

OK, count me in for the Saturday - I'll drive up on Friday (arriving ~11pm) drive Saturday and spend Sunday morning chatting to folks, taking pics and setting up my camera rig on other cars :) before setting off home at Lunchtime.

Lauren, I'm definitely on for the cottage on Friday and Saturday nights :)

Edit: Logging in and out seems to have cured it.

Clicking "add to basket" just takes me to an empty basket (well, with the trackday itself in there) - I can't seem to add the cottage 'events' to my basket...
