How's this progressing? Will you be ready in time for the grand tour?

Re: Noble M500 Upgrades & Overhaul
Good weather and long evenings has allowed progress. First job was to repair the other (O/S) lower wishbone mount. This had corroded the same as N/S and was only visible once the wishbone was removed:
Plate cut, shaped, drilled and tack welded.
Plate was then seam welded, and the last part of the chassis stripped of old paint, degreased, and given 3 coats of POR. The paint will be left to fully cure before fitting new wishbone.
Next job was new front floor. I'd laready had a new floor cut, using the old floor as a template. Drilled 102 holes plus a few drain holes, and attached to chassis with 102 stainless rivets:
Now to the PAS cooler. After 10 years it was looking worse for wear, and Noble's method of mounting the cooler was not the most imaginitive:
So, together with new cooler, i bought some custom rubber mounts:
Drilled some holes in the new floor, and after washing out to remove any debris from manufacturing, new cooler fitted:

Very nice work, as always
Still on track to be ready in 4 1/2 weeks? Or should I be looking at things you can carry in the Honda

Re: Noble M500 Upgrades & Overhaul
Completed O/S suspension this evening. As per N/S, upright has been crack tested. New wishbones, new primed and painted track rod and track rod end, new poly bushes and upper and lower balljoints. All new nuts, bolts and washers. Ready for torquing up:
Now onto brake lines. Old brake lines and all adaptors etc removed and binned. New Goodridge hose, and all hose ends and adaptors replaced with stainless items. Bonded washers sort out sealing adaptors into calipers.
Instead of tiewrapping the brake lines to the wishbones, had these made instead:
Next is N/S brake line, and bleeding.

Nice touch with the lines mountings It's the little touches which really make the difference.
Re: Noble M500 Upgrades & Overhaul
Nice work Mr.G
Shaping up rather nicely. I seem to remember you wanting to have the engine built and front clam sprayed before Lemans...
How time flies!

Time certainly does fly! Been waiting 8 weeks for my radiator from Pace. Was told the custom core was made last week, and that rad was being made yesterday.
I know the core was made because................... UPS delivered it to me yesterday afternoon! Aaaagggghhh!
Meanwhile, new all-stainless tyre valves fitted to wheels:

No, not all of it. Just the core.

Yep, new engine will be around 560-580bhp. Torque will be limited to 500ftlbs to look after the gearbox.

Well brake lines finished this evening, and annual change of fluid with SRF done.
And after 9 weeks of waiting, UPS delivered an enormous box from Pace Products today.
Custom built 4 core race-spec. radiator. 78mm core, original was 50mm:
Next jobs are to fit heater assembly and wiper motor, and coolant and PAS oil cooler lines...
