LOL at some of the reasoning for saying the rev 1/2 is the best, like because they were the original lights, they're some how best.

The rev1/2 lights don't look bad( in comparison however...) but they revised the lights and IMPROVED them. They do update the look, it's like a few other stock things in essence could be updated/changed and the car could come out the factory new.

Rev 3 all the way as far as lights go, I've only seen rev 1/2 lights actually look good a few times(where it made me want to keep mine) and it depends on different factors like the colour of the car(just like I think certain bodykits suit different colours better) and it might just be the rev1/2 center panel that puts me off, a colour coded rev 3 style panel might improve them.(opens photoshop)

And after all that.. I've got rev2 lights, I'd switch to rev 3 in a flash if I could but don't have spare funds to spray on such cosmetics. :(

PS: Anyone with rev 3 lights want to swap for rev 2's?

I think most of us can agree though, rev 1/2/3/5, it's all good except for those horrid lexus lights.

There's a reason rev1/2 lights are worth peanuts and rev3 lights need a bank loan to purchase...

Just my thoughts anyway.

Anyway.... to the original question, rev 5 or rev 3 I'd say.

The smooth center panel insert for the rev 1/2 lights certainly improves the look :thumleft:

i prefer the look of the rev3> rear. the car is essentially rounded with no sharp angles and i think the squareness of the rev 1/2 doesnt sit right, thats my personal opinion any way.
as for spoilers i like the look of the rev 3 but prefer the rev 5 i have on mine :)

I have a rev 3, but I put a rev 2 bootlid and spoiler on it with Autopista center section and rev2 side pods bonded on with rev 2 lights and colour coded smooth panel insert

I'm in the minority I know!
