id go black to be honest, what with the blacked out window at the back and black wheels, id go black i reckon if you took your badges off and painted them black too it would look mint :thumleft:

well that was the idea to tie it in to the windows (not that the door glass is tinted)

no badges though, if the colour match is good on the bit of the rear bumper i sprayed then ill de-badge the front bumper, the boot lid already has been de-badged

change of subject i know but have you got the camry v6 in your Mr, if so was this a hard job to do, wise choice or would you of done things different thinking of getting the camry engine you see, and never spoke to anyone whos done it !!.

yes mine is the 3vzfe camry v6, as far as i know there are 3 options that are readily available for the mr2 (with support that is), mine, the 1mz, and the daddy - the 2gr.

i bought mine already converted in a rev1 car - all i have done is reshell it into a rev4 tintop. so didnt have the initial conversion problems really

pop over to twobrutal, loads of people are doing it over there, or message Kelvin (kayjay_07) on here he has just finished his home conversion, and at the same time converted it from an auto to manual

wicked cheers mate, finding a manual is hard they all seem to be autos, then i quite fancied a beams engine then changed my mind i want the v6 sound tho to be honest thanks for that !! :)

i think all the uk ones were autos, but the engine bolt straight onto the mr2 na or turbo gearbox

I have also considered different colour mirrors on my white 2. I've even done a few photoshops.... silver to match the rest of my paint detailing. In the end though I've stayed white with a little respray to tidy them up. Whatever you do get them smoothed of the part no. text etc whatever, defo looks cleaner and nicer.
