sorry, i thaught it had been decided by someone that there was going to be a meet at the stevenson pub on retail park reeswood. is this not the case anymore

hi, meet was suggested a while ago (cant remember who by) but stevenson idea was mine, but been on hols and obviously something has gone a miss as several people were aware of this and said they would be up for it on friday me included, but is this not the case anymore ! 
bit late for rearanging but would like to know if anyone is still going to turn up

stevenson pub it is then, i'll be there..
actually, is anyone a tubby owner? Wondered if someone would be able to take me out for a quick spin in it, just wanted to feel the difference between the N/A and tub as im thinking of defecting to a Nissan 200sx but really want to stay with an MR2 but get a turbo.

back on line after move to new house thank god.
Right then peps been off line for 3 weeks after moveing into new house to find that not a lot went on at the meet a couple of weeks ago.
It was my idea to arrange a meet locally in the first place and i feelt guilty cause i couldnt do the first meet through moveing house that day. 
We need to get this sorted out properly if you are still up for a local meet.
Where are you meeting up?
What time are you meeting up?
Start Posting the meet details the sunday b4 the meet so everyone gets in on the action and find out whos coming first for definate b4 heading over to the meet venue.
I have done plenty of vw meets and this started to happen at the venue for that meet no one turned up and people didnt wait so they thought they were the only ones there.
this could be a good oppurtunity to get to know other owners and beleave me when it gets going its good fun... so come on peps lets try again and try to have some fun the winter is coming and it gets boaring siiting in the house all winter...... im up for it my mr2 needs to crooze ya know..and this is a good excuse.....

Exactly the same here, free on all evenings pretty much, well i have a g/f but she's flexible
She knows how much i love my 2's!! And i'm also hungover my alot of sunday mornings so evening slot sounds good xxxx!!!There's loadsa MR2's in walsall it's crazy!!!

I'll join in with a list of good pubs:
The longhorn- Sutton Road, just outta walsall.
The farmer johns- Streetly.
The rest are a good selection, just outta walsall ie sutton road but with plenty of parking space i think would be ideal.
The best place for me is the dilke, it's 2 mins drive from where i live and it's next to a great golf course called Calderfields!!!
White house is another good one.
Let me know of any further developments, i see so many MR2's in walsall it's great!!
