Just to bring a close to this thread - my g.f has just ordered an Xbox Elite from Amazon for just over £200 and also purchased "Dead Space" for just a tenner at the same time

Now working all next weekend to pay for it...

Actually my bro bought me a NES when I was a kid. The next year he bought me a TV so I didnt keep using his all the time lol.
