3 weeks to go peeps !!! this time in 3 weeks we will be having the first of our party's & on a real high on another note, my car is 98% finished with only a few small jobs left to do & she looks absolutely stunning, cant wait to get back behind the wheel again, i took her out for the first time in 3 months on Saturday & after having the front discs skimmed i was not happy with the results so sent off for a brand new pair which i'll fit this week, also found a very small coolant leak which has resulted in me having to do a fair bit of dismantling to get to a small 'O' ring which i should have changed whilst the engine was in the front room that should leave me 2 weeks to do some driving in her so i can keep an eye on things before the long drive cant wait to meet everyone again , see you all soon, "Monseur Jinxy"

I think me and Mark will meet up with you guys at the M11 services as well, give us a chance to meet a few of you before you all cast us out as interlopers

Just a couple of important pointers

1. Has everyone checked their insurance to see if they are covered in France.

2. Has everyone sorted breakdown, don't think it will never happen, we had a radiator go last year and an alternator the year before.

3. Make sure you have all the legal gear for driving in France, check out this website

On a nother note....i am picking my car up from woodsport in the very early am of the 7th, i then have to drive it back to Bedford and fit the koni kit and polybushes

If anyone is in the Bedford area and has some knowledge and more importantly a pair of hands to help me i would be very gratefull in beer tokens and food

LeMans here we come !! some of you guys know what a nightmare this has been for me & i wasnt even sure the car would be ready in time & if it wasnt for the help of Nigel it wouldnt have been finished on time, so a huge thanks goes to him , here are a few pics, enjoy, Jinxy

Unfortunately I'm a little pot-committed to make this trip, it sounds a hoot. As I'm getting the car ready for the Nurburgring in August I just can't stretch to it

A lot of the campsites sell out months in advance, although I believe that there are a few spaces held over especially for late comers.. Having never camped I'm not sure of the pros/cons of each one but either phone just tickets or have a browse in the camping forum of www.beermountain.com ...

Hi, im after 2 tickets, anyone know how much it costs to see the main race, I have no idea and im trying to plan everything last minute so any advise would be much appreciated

Race day I believe is about £50 when you buy it on the gate? I might be remembering currencies wrong though so it could be €50 A few people have said further back in this thread that it's not worth pre-booking it, so I haven't and am just going to purchase one there.

Yea its about £50 for the whole week, includes qualifying/practise on the Tuesday/Wednesday, pit walk Friday and the race weekend...

Camp with us at The Chateau du Chanteloup, its about 15 minutes from track, we'll all be there.

I've got a spare parking pass next to 3 other MR2's in the white parking if anyone is interested.

I was going to keep this as a surprise, but i cant contain myself any longer, im going to join you guys on the extended trip after LeMans, im booked into a different hotel than you lot at Mont St Michael but not far away & am booked into the same place as you lot in Dieppe ( apparently ), so im affraid "jinxy time" has been extended , YipEEEEEEEEE !!!, Jinxy
