I'll swap my xbox 360 ( ring of fire edition ) with a couple of games for a brand new 360 console

I've been told if you wrap the console in a towel so it overheats it will melt the solder around the Chip and re solder it on by itself, fixing the problem (Being that it overheated, melted the solder and the chip came loose). Might be a crock of sh!t, might not.

Dont do it mate. It 'may' work but if you send it off to Microsoft they can tell and you wont get it fix for free!
