Sad news, ST was sold today.
Definitely a great experience driving it, ticks a LOT of boxes but i now realise fwd is not my thing

Picking up new car shortly, excited is an under statement

I said i would never drive one as i daily again but when a friend of a friend offered to buy the ST, it was either a coincidence or fate that another friend of a friend wanted his mr2 shifted
Defo wont be spending money on modding this though, will give it a service and stick on any goodies i have lying about spare

glad you had fun with the st but when a deal comes up sometimes its hard to resist

They are very hard to resist, i said i would have one as a weekend toy or track toy again but this has come up.
It need some tidying up, so going to fix it up with all the bits i have and hopefully keep it til summer time. Ive also got the zx which needs alot of work but thats more of a long term project to keep me busy.
I really should get a van and keep this for weekends, could even do a mrvan conversion
Ach i dont know what my plans are yet but im now in a very good position to go self employed so cant complain.

Tbh im in a win-win situation, got enough money to go self employed now and to get a van if i change my mind about the car and can always keep it as a track project

Im now stuck in 2 minds between the mr2 and the new toy:





GT4 needs new wheels as 2 are damaged badly, rear quarter window, driver seat and mot.
Or just keep the mr2?

One of the boys i know has a set of good wheels but not sure what i want yet wheel wise, it may sit off road for a while..
Been off road for 12months+ so not in any rush, pm me a few pics and price and ill keep it in mind

Not really, GT4 is 4WD, charge cooled, front engined. MR2 is rear engined, intercooled, rear wheel drive.

Yes thats more of a long term project, lots of body panels will need replaced, needs new wheel studs as some are sheered, some interior panels missing, no rear seats and thats before ive even checked for faults from ecu or jacked it up to get suspension off

Well, ive been enjoying being back in a rev3 turbo as can be seen:



MR with Normal tyres in snow, seemed fine to me

Curiosity is now eating me up inside about the GT4 so im going to get an estimate of cost to get it back on the road then take it from there.
