san andreas and gta3 although werent as realistic, were far farrrrr better. This game I've got to give credit to rockstar, such realism and work gone into it but it's poo. If I wanted realistic driving i'd buy a driving sim, just not fun without those handbrakers

Have you seen it on both versions? No didn't think so. I'm not talking about that compressed video crap on gametrailers, I'm talking about seeing it first hand for yourself, reading what others have said about it, watching reviews talking about it and what the actual gamers say about it.

i have both, and the ps3 DOES look better it DOES load quicker there ARE more cars and people on screen at a time and there IS less slow down.
i can compare the 2 because i have BOTH consoles hooked up to the SAME tv both are through hdmi and the differece is very noticable. weather u wanna belive it or not its true. the ps3 version is the faster/better looking version EVEN when messing with the birghtness/contrast sliders.

i have all the other versions of gta on the playstation so i got the ps3 verison for my collection, i got the 360 version because i could get it a week early n really wanted to play it.

Sure it's a good game and theres some nice touches to it, But to me it just dosent seem next generation.

Has anyone noticed how it defaults to 720p? You have to turn off all the other setting to get it to run in 1080p, whats the deal with that?

I noticed this also but unless your sitting closer than say 6 feet from a 40" tv, You wont notice the differance anyway

Can someone tell me whether it is true the PS3 version does not have any achivements to do??? Thought I'd give it a go and can't find anything relating to it. Not bothered about gamer points or whatever. Just wanted something else to do when I'm not in the mood for the missions etc. TBH this for me is a big let down!
