You will take a bit longer than 2 hours from Kinross. Id say about 2hrs 30 so see you late afternoon.

Michael look after the cockney geezers tonight. Give them cider and sausages and you will be fine.

I have another 4 hrs at work and then its on to getting the details arranged for friday night and the rest of the weekend.

Mk1 is cleaned and ready to go. Mk3 is having a couple of cats removed in the morning but will not be making the trip.

Hope you can see these guys Allan. You should have just come with us.


John Light is going to be unable to make it. His back is cream crackered which is a shame.

I've just gone through my checklist, might help you out.

I'm taking my spare set of keys, you never know, keyfob damage, key snap etc. Joanne will be keeping these in her bag.

Travel insurance documents

AA breakdown cover members card

Credit card for emergency use only ( not for buying shoes Joanne )

Both parts of driving liscence

1st aid kit and spare bulbs

Maps with route highlighted

Shanes number in my phone

Spare alternator and water pump

1litre bottle of oil

Spare coolant

2 x tyre weld

Air checked in spare wheel

All ready now the cars cleaned inside and out all the fluids have been checked the fuel tank is fill to the top with the good stuff no not whisky will be taking a spare accelerator cable and alternator belt, tools just in case. spare keys and for watty my wallet. See ya all tomorrow night.

I think most of the trip stuff is done so not problems there. The only thing i have no control on is the weather. Lets hope for the best. If we get a bit of rain we get a bit of rain. We just have to live with it.

Still going to be great roads and a great bunch of like minded people to have a banter with.

23hrs now til aviemore. Weather forecast is getting better. Light rain instead of heavy. Better but I know with some more praying we might have sunshine

mic now in the engine bay but going for in-cabin camera as I don't want to drown it as a bumper cam. Digi camera charged, PVR on charge the now.
