I'll give the multiplayer a blast, the satisfaction I get from that is not getting kills but getting my rank up. I usually get bored when the gap between ranks gets rather large though. Well, thats what I did with COD4 when I got to 25 or so.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as being a low rank player and owning every one either. Especially if they're Americans!

Well unfortunately if you are too good they will accuse you of using an aimbot! But I guess that only applies to PC version :p

too bad you can't play MW2 cross platform, meaning XBox Live vs PS3 vs PC.

Funny you say that, got a text from a PS3 friend the other day asking what platform I got it on and he said exactly the same.

I guess it's a rivalry thing, but I see no reason why the online multiplayer games couldnt be cross platform. Hardly any 2 PC's are the same but they all work together right?

I still havent managed to knife anyone on the sly and get my 10 points yet. They always see me coming just as I go to do it.

One of the options in multiplayer that you unlock.. you can replace your granade for a throwing knife... Once used you can go and pick it up as well.

That kill in the vid was obviously just a fluke but a damn good one!

The melee attack is with the R3 button when you are4 close to an enemy you can swipe and kill them in one go. Really useful when your trying to be stealth as you wont show up on the radar.

Yeah I know how to knife some one, but as yet, on the single player mode, I havent been able to sneak up and do it before being spotted. There's 10 points available for that on 360

all legit and you can throw knives in MW2. I'd be proud of that. Never seen someone been so so lucky with a knife throw!

You can throw knife if you select the perk. I don't have it but the secret is when you tail someone and get close behind him , sprint and crouch and aim for the neck area. It's practically 1 shot kill. Soooooooooo satisfying when you knife someone really p1$$e$ them off lol. I once knifed this sniper dude like 4-5 times in a row he got pi$$ed off cursed and left the game

From what ive read the PC version is actually inferior to the console games.

No servers which is normally one of the main reasons the PC version is superior.

You cant lean either.

MS tried to launch xbox live on the PC and if that had taken off then we would see alot more cross platform xbox vs pc gaming. Shadow Run and another game tried it but i think thats as far as they got.

The MP is also better on MW2 as if the host quit's his game and game will pause and another person will become the host and the game wil carry one.

Oh dear going Bi Polar again …

Played some more Multiplayer last night and … well … I started to enjoy it! Managed to clock a few kills with the UMP, opened up a few more perks and weapon upgrades and then racked up even more kills! It gets easier once you open up some more perks that’s for sure – but why they force you to be cannon fodder for the first few ranks is beyond me!

So it seems that in the 1hr 52mins I have played I racked up 82 kills!

UMP with rapid fire seems to be working for me at the moment – not so great at long range but cool for close combat. Just adopted the same playing strategy I use in BF1943 – keep moving and don’t stop in 1 spot.

I must have been on fire last night as after my broadband crashed I bashed out 2 levels on veteran as well!

How many kills do you guys get each game on average?

I am seriously loving this game online (Playing on my reincarnated Xbox as my ps3 is dead).
