Update ish....

Hoping the car will be heading to Peters this weekend! :thumleft:

Also i have been using an old Pug 307 2.0 HDI for the past 4 months! Yes it gets 50+ mpg but by christ its slow and boring and well just crap really!

So decided i wanted another toy, Honestly i was looking for another MR2 N/A but none locally to me - So i got the chance of a little MX5 Import (Eunos Roadster) 1 owner from import / 80K / Wide alloys / Momo wheel / Nardi gear knob ect. Pretty clean thing in silver all for £640!

Its getting delivered on Thursday so looking forward to hitting the B roads again! Just until the beast is done of course! Then might give it to my lass

Hi All,

Tiny updates....

New Aeromotive FPR gauge arrived

Image

Also ordered one of the Lifeline plumbed in fire systems from Peter! For the sake of a few hundred quid it could save a fortune if anything was to happen.

And two 12" x 4" race silencers ordered for the custom side exit setup which should be a nice one-off system when completed.

So a wee update on the deuce,

Still unsure to why I had such a high boost spike (1.97 Bar) this caused DET and blew the ceramic off the end of one of the spark plugs landing in the cylinder and mashed on the pistons... :(

But on a positive side no damage to the walls of the block and you can even still see the honing marks and it looks like Wiesco are willing to sell us one piston and a new set of rings... Happy Days.

I have also just acquired a Rev 1 E153 Box which has just been fully rebuilt and had fitted a Rev 3 LSD - Sorted and ticked off the list thanks to Peter and Martin (aka Slipping Clutch)

Cheers Ashley!

Yeah I think it will be a suitable option at this stage anyways, And gives me scope to upgrade other things possibly?

Well I had a blast down to Sbits today and see the latest..

Bad news two of the wiesco pistons are goosed and the one of the bores is damaged.

But I have managed to find a replacement Rev 2 block and will be with Peter Wednesday :thumleft:

And ordered a new set of Wossner 8.0.1 86.5mm pistons and should be with Peter by Thursday.

Extra costs I could have done without but these things happen and that's why we have credit cards \:D/

Hi All,

So no updates for a fair while - We were delayed on some parts for over 6 weeks - But starting to move now and hoping to get back on the road in October.

A few extras that we decided to add - Full Syvecs ECU system which I had been toying with for the past few months but the cost was an issue - Finally saved up the cash so looking forward to running this system with all the extras it has to offer - Traction Control / Anti-Lag & Launch Control plus being the latest technology etc etc.

This is a large part of the budget but well spent I think - Also means my Apexi Power FC will be going up for sale along with my Blitz DSBC.

Even when I get it back the plans are still to continue over the winter with more parts that can be upgraded with the engine in place.

Hi All,

Well I decided that having 2 two seater cars wasn't really practical so the MX5 was sold on Saturday morning to make way for another Toyota to the collection.

I wanted something with 4 seats and a boot but not to expensive to run, Fast but nothing to kinky.

Not the prettiest car in the world but the engine pulls very strong and goes like a bullet after 6K rpm....

One Corolla T-Sport
