It is 204...

Lunarmatic wrote:whereas my mk1 looks a slightly grey/black if that makes sense? I guess maybe that's why the colour is Monochrome Black metallic rather than just Black metallic. :-k

That does make sense. In certain light the silver flecks do make it look a grey/black.[/quote]

They are - top notch.

Lunarmatic wrote:Jonathan, are you going to get all the decals etc. made up or leave it as it is? Mine doesn't have any stripes or "Toyota" on the nose but I like it as it is. I do have the side rubbing strips on mine though, they've got a gloss black stripe along the top and bottom edges, with a red stripe and a sort of metallic-y dark grey centre - are yours like this and are you planning to reattach them?

I was going to re-apply all the decals but I really like it without. I have a full set of rubbing strips as you describe, they were on the car already as it is an original black model and not resprayed to look like one. The only problem is one of the rubbing strips, in front of the rear driver's, arch is split. If any one has one of these I would be very interested. In fact I'd be interested in any spare rubbing strips for the black model.
