Have you tried a standard JDM ECU in place of the APFC? If you do this you can read the Toyota fault codes that could tell you if the wiring is wrong.


i don't have a standard JDM ECU because my car is USA.



on top of that, if you got a commander, you can check for sensor errors on this without needing to start the car. just need power.


have checked in the commander and there was WRN sensor error, but

on the sensor check, are any got black boxes around them, and read 0.00 or 4.99V?

buy a jdm from uk ebay, you can get them dirt cheap....£20.....

I don't know much about power FC ECUs but aren't there different PFC models for rev2 and rev3?

Do you have the correct version for an AFM car?

Are there decent maps in the Power FC to allow it to start?

Do you have boost controller? If you dont, then you have to change setting in your commander... You should look this site: http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/do ... faq.htm#40

There you find this: Basic Hand Controller functions and use.

Read it and change the boost controller in right position.

no, i don't have boost controller.

i have changed setting in commander and changed boost controller to OFF

And you have been changed in settings to mr2 rev 3-4???

Mine pfc is occ or something showing me 4,98v??? What is that?

i don't remember because i have removed PFC and I have put again the standard ECU.

someone whom has installed the AP Power FC can send me some photo of that he has done for install AP Power FC in your MR2?

sorry, you can ignore the above picture, i just realised i spliced into those wires so i could run a gen3 setup on the gen2 power FC....

have you set it to run the 1.3bar map sensor, ie the gen2, as theres 2 options on there for the map setup....gen2 style, and gen3 style...

If you are now running standart ECU, I got adapter harness for you to swap US->JDM... Got that when I bought mine pfc..

there isnt a gen3 and 4....
