Ha ha! Thing is once i did the bonnet pins, i then went on to do the washer jets, and they are not round holes! I had to get the files out! Now that is confidence! :mrgreen:

just had a look at the ViS web site and it looks like its cheaper buying directly from the site -

There site has them listed at $800 each and when I signed up to get a shipping price it says Free Shipping. $800 converts to about £408!!! :D :D

Might be worth looking into buying that way??

You still have import tax etc to pay on that so i bet you would only save few bob for a longer wait and more risk of damage coming from the states.

But it looks like the Ebay ones are also shipped from the US from looking at the feedback. Are the Ebay ones definatly Import tax free? eg -

I asked if it included import tax, he said it did....maybe someone else could ask the seller dude at VIS cuz otheriwse he may think I'm taking the pi55 :-k

Nothing from the states comes with taxes paid mate AFAIK

You as the buyer will have to pay them

they have a fibreglass one in, but the mould is old and it didnt fit well.

they are getting them to change it in japan.

feel free to look else where for the moment.

it will be prob another 6-8weeks

I'm wondering if anyone can answer this for me... is the Border bonnet a 'functional' bonnet? As in those scoops, can you feed air from the vent in the bumper up through to the scoops? (without harming the structural integrity of the vehicle!)
