I cant believe burnout doesnt have split screen, are there any good split screen games?

Was looking forward to playing split screen burnout this weekend with the girlfriend :(

I have found the same problem with nearly all ps3 games, I bought sega rally & colin mcrae for ps3 and was cery disapointed at the lack of 2player mode on cmc & the poor split screen on sr.
I wanted to race against the missus but I cant.
Do all the games makers think that we only want to play with virtual friends, whats wrong with all piling into a room while drinking beer and racing... all previos consoles managed this quite well :(

Oh and burnout paradise looks wicked but if it's not out til near gta iv I wont be getting it... lol

I've found the English version (PS3) delivered to your door from Hong Kong for £28.89 :thumleft: Anyone know cheaper? Got The Orange Box off them yesterday for £28.49 delivered :)

1 more day to go! I feel like a big kid lol but im going to be at game at lunchtime 2morow to get my copy!! Anyone know how much its going to be, online its 39.99 but I rekon its going to be more in store.
