With regards to the £100, it would be a pro rata return, i.e. they are not going to give you the full refund of the annual difference, but the difference in premium from when you changed to the vectra through to renewal date.

It pays to shop around though, each underwriter will target a particular segment of the market - an insurer who targets MR2's may not be the most competitive insurer for vectra's and vice versa.

could you not phone the insurance company then wright to them with this information and ask them for a bit of fairness ...lie and say if they give you an improved price you will be a happier customer for years to come :lol: :lol:

maybe get a slightly improved offer then when the time is right tell them where they went wrong and goodbye...
when i cancelled a policy with Norwich union they charged me one months cover..bit fairer compared to this, which insurance company are you having these problems with ?


Sky insurance, a company whom i thought to be one of the best, helpful (call centres who speak english) competativly priced and above all, they knew what i was on about.

but now ive lost all respect for them.
