Not sure about that, but I've seen a few with the front conversion. The 4 eye look just doesn't attract me at all.

Because I don't like the front of the UK model. Simple as...

The JDM looks far nicer IMO.

It's a beauty Earl! Makes me wonder why I put so much money towards my MR2, if this car is as good as you (and many others) say.

Thanks Edwin, :thumleft:

It really is a totally different driving experience to the MR2 mate. No way you can compare them. The MR2 is a class act when it comes to brute power, and on the strip, but the DC2 is like a ballerina in the bends and really does take in it's stride, what most cars struggle to do.

It lacks any real torque in the lower part of the rev range, but more than makes up for it at the top end. The motor really is eager to rev, and coupled to a chassis which really does defy belief, makes for a fantastic driving experience. You really have to try one for yourself.

When you do, don't compare. Open the window, and just listen to the howl of the VTEC. It's totally intoxicating.

Love to Alex, but afraid funds won't allow at the moment. :(

Once I've got a few large bills, and my dad sorted, I'll be back mate, don't you worry.

...just a bit mate.

Lacks any real torque until around 6k, but then it goes a bit mental.

Kept on the boil between 6-8.5k, it's actually quicker from A-B than the tubby, as you can use more of the power more of the time.

Hey Earl, I can totally associate with your comments re the wet handling and being able to use more of the power more of the time.

I enjoyed my tubby when I had it but this wet summer made it a very frustrating proposition - wet days meant I could never enjoy driving the car and looking out of the window on the weekend when I got up and seeing rain would put me on a downer.

I now have a REV5 NA and though it is obviously much less powerful in a straight line it is much more enjoyable overall to drive as the power is more usable an it isn't a handful in the wet. Its also great fun on the twisties - power isn't everything!

Reading your thread has made me start entertaining the thought of a DC2 Integra again - yours is beautiful mate, a real stunner.

I totally agree that the JDM is the better looking car. I was put off however as I saw a lot of them about compared to the UK spec cars and wondered if there was a lack of demand for them?

Glad to hear your enjoying the car - I think its time I had a session on Piston heads...

Can you give any buying tips? Also is the noice of the car intrusive on the motorway? If I buy one it will be my daily driver so will be used on the motorway...

Hey James,

Head over to www.itr-dc2.com.

Loads of usefull info there, and lots of really nice cars for sale.

As for the noise... if the car is stock, they're really quiet, but mine has a Mugen Twin loop exhaust and M&M Honda intake, so it's a little boomy on the motorway, but no where near as loud as the MR2.
