you should run turbos on unleaded, as they are mapped for 100 ron fuel, so 99 or 98 ron is a minimum you should run without causing problems.

n/a's are fine on standard fuel.

depends on how many miles a week your doing will reflect how much of your hard earned stirlings are being used up.

super unleaded is 7-10+pence more a ltr than standard fuel, so a tank it should be around £5-£8 more expensive. and depending on how heavy your right foot is will depend on how many miles you get out of your £50 tank.

normal running n/a should be seeing 325 + plus on £40 of standard

the rev1 turbo i had would see 200 miles on £50 of super

my v6 gets 300 miles on £40 of standard fuel

you do the math. but having a mr2 isnt about how many MPG you get, its the enjoyment in having one. if your that worried about economy, buy a 1.5 diesel 106 !!!! i have one for long trips and nearly went mad when i was driving it !!! :thumleft:

i was under the assumption that import N/A's should be run on a higher octane fuel? Is this true? :-k

Nah, not necessary really. They were designed to run on the Jap fuel which is around 100ron i think but are perfectly fine on standard unleaded.
