I'm 50/50 for this atm.
If the mk1 turbo is ready in time I'll deffo be there, but if not then I'll see how the std mk1 is bearing up after the 6 days its booked on before then.

Re: MR2 Trackday - Donington Park - Sunday 18th March
Hi IMOC and Mk1 Club members.
.
.me again

I don't want to stress the urgency of booking your space for the track day BUT if we don't have:

By 31st Jan
- 40 provisional bookings with 10 confirmed
(minimum 50% deposit paid)
By 28th Feb
- 60 provisional bookings with 30 confirmed paid in full

WE WILL NOT HAVE ONLY MR2s AROUND THE TRACK
.

There are already 2 provisional bookings for other cars than MR2 because there werent 30 provisional bookings by 31st dec.

Go on, BOOK NOW!

Any issues with an AE86 attending?

I appreciate its an MR2 owner club event, hence why I am asking
(just before some sarky ass states the obvious)

Cheers

James

While i'm obviously not the organiser I'd be quite surprised if a long standing IMOC member was turned away when we'll not hit numbers anyway!

Re: MR2 Trackday - Donington Park - Sunday 18th March
I'll try to be a definate maybe.

Always fancied a track day just to get more used to the limits of the mr2.

Will hopefully be pushin a bit more BHP by then too, so shud be good.

How long is the track at Donny by the way? Couldnt find it on the site.

The only thing that could stop me is if its in the garage for anythin at the time, or gettin a respray.

Stupid question maybe, but is the track measured around the centreline of the circuit, or on the racing line? And I wonder if theres much difference?

I guess the only way would be round the centre?

I don't know for sure, but I can only think it would be down the centre of the circuit, because the racing line would vary slightly depending on what you were driving, so that would make measuring that way an unviable method.

Hey guys

Is this still going to be a MR2 day only day?

This thread seems to have lost steam.
