Can a mk1 be insured on classic insurance?
I want a mk1 but though everday classic insurance would be ideal.
Is this possible?

yes but i think classic is only avalible for the really early ones, bout 15 years + i think

yeah, ring Houghton. Mk1 insured as 2nd car, 5k miles limited mileage, £182 - bargin!

I've since swapped policies with them and am back on a Third Party F&T - premium for that was also very reasonable.
