It's the colour I'm talking about.. Patrick is sorting me out some photo's as my PC here at home has more virus's than your local hospital and only good for surfing

Once I'm all sorted I'll post up a full before and after - just have to bear with me - sorry

sorry mate no it's just as loud outside the car (actually LOUDER)... I've asked around and 50% of people say it's the same with them 50% say no..

I've just done a diagnostic check using the old paperclip routine (for the power steering NOT ecu - and all looks fine

Patrick is as we speak got his head in some manuals from ToyotaGB :study: to make sure the ECU from the tubby is set up the same as the NA with regards to the power steering...

Hi all! Welcome to my fisrt post!

So, was the transplant worth it? Is it a real big difference from the N/A?

its good isn't it, trouble is you get used to it in no time and then you have so many go faster turbo bits you can buy... bad for the wallet.

Since having my conversion done I have :-

Unichipped,
Decatted,
New exhaust,
Boostcontroller,
Vernier pullied
RSM'd

and now i want more cooling and more turbo.. 8-[

That does it. Im getting a turbo conversion - need a toy for the summer, and it's about time I treated myself.

If you dont mind me asking, how long did the job take, and how long did it take from you saying yes to Rouge, and them getting your car in?

excatly how i felt - I needed a treat - had a couple of pooey years so i need to take care of number one from now on ! [-(

Job took 1 week (actaul labour)

but in total i was rather fortunate with the Donor car - right place right time and all that. give them a ring.. see what they have coming in / already got in - you might be lucky and not have to wait very long at all.

So do you basically buy the donor car, then they swap the bits?

Do you get to keep/sell the donor car? What about your old engine? Will Rouge take it off your hands?

Should probably just take the plunge and call Rouge I suppose! Wonder if they'll fit me a nice zorst too, just to let the whole street know that I've got a new toy

Got a day off tomorrow, so I shall begin the insurance hunt! Anything less than a grand would be great, I reckon...

No, you buy an engine transplant bundle from a donor car.

MK_Steve wrote:What about your old engine? Will Rogue take it off your hands?

We may offer a small amount against your old engine, but certainly less than you would make selling it privately - 3SGE engines have very little value to us... We can arrange to palletise your old engine and have it delivered to you.

Probably the best bet... We start taking delivery of Revision6 Exhausts next week.

Adrian Flux seem to be working well for most transplant people.
